Wearmouth-Jarrow World Heritage Site Bid
St Paul's Church, Jarrow, together with St Peter's in Wermouth, are bidding with the support of other partners to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site - and will be the UK's nomination for this status in 2010

Bede's World
Bede's World is the museum of early mediaeval Northumbria at Jarrow and grew out of the Bede Monastery Museum, founded by members of St Paul's Church, Prof Rosemary Cramp (who led the archeological investigagtions here in the 1970's) and other partners. The Team Rector is an ex-officio trustee of the museum.
