About Us

Jarrow Gospel Joy was formed in late 2008 and has grown since then in membership, musical ability and musical style - but we remain at heart a group of people who enjoy getting together to sing and enjoy praising God by doing it! We meet most Sundays at 5pm at St Peter's Church, York Avenue, under the leadership of our director, Angela Braviner.

We welcome people of all ages, including those who think they can't sing (many of us thought we couldn't either!) - all we ask is that you'll try to enjoy yourself, and let Angela draw out of you what's in there.
